every Saturday at our Christ Campus

11:30 am - 12:30 pm


St. Luke members are asked to help prepare and serve at the Community Kitchen on the dates listed below.

Sign up sheets are located in the Narthex area both at Meridian Campus and Christ Campus.

Community Garden

Mission of God’s Glory Community garden:

Our mission is to serve the Lord by growing food for our community, and to grow relationship with the community. 

We support the Haslett Food Pantry with seasonal fresh produce. 

The Community garden is open to non-members of St. Luke, as we welcome all who like to grow.  

Coat Bank

The St. Luke Coat Bank will start up again in Fall of 2020.

This season we distributed 1,552 coats!

Our goal is to insure that all persons in need receive a coat and be wrapped in the love of Christ this winter.  Serving families in need in the greater Lansing area.

Coats, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves for all ages. Any family in need may come by to select winter apparel, each person who desires a coat must be present.

**NEW THIS YEAR:  Government issued ID is required for all adults who wish to receive coats.  Anyone in need may come during the hours below to select a coat or winter apparel.  

Each person requesting a coat MUST be present at the Coat Bank, including children.

Each child may have one coat per year, and each adult may have one coat every other year.  

Coat Bank distribution is at our Christ Campus location:  

           122 S. Pennsylvania Ave.

Missions We Support

Together In Mission We help support financially and with our prayers the ministry of Pastor David Erber and his family, missionaries in Nigeria, through the LCMS’s Together in Mission Program. Pastor Erber corresponds with us regularly by email and visits us occasionally to report on the progress of his vibrant ministry to Nigerian nationals. You can read more about them here

Lutheran Bible Translators We give special financial and prayerful attention to the ministry of Pastor Chuck and Karen Tessaro of Lutheran Bible Translators who are working to provide a written version of the Bible (and a written language) to the people of Nigeria. International Student Ministries - Friendship House Many of our members participate in the International Student Ministry-Lansing Area ministry of friendship with hundreds of international students, scholars, visiting professionals and their families at nearby Michigan State University and Lansing Community College.
